2020 IESES – IEEE 2nd International Conference on Industrial Electronics for Sustainable Energy Systems
The 2nd International Conference on Industrial Electronics for Sustainable Energy Systems (IESES 2020) will provide a remarkable opportunity for the academic and industrial communities to address new challenges and to share new ideas, innovative solutions, research results and future research directions of sustainable energy systems in an inspiring and friendly environment in the City of Cagliari in Italy.
After the success of the first edition in Hamilton (New Zeland), the second edition of IESES will be held in Cagliari (Italy) and will continue to focus on several key topics related to industrial electronics technologies for sustainable energy systems. The purpose of IESES 2020 is to create an interactive and multidisciplinary scientific community, active on the latest advances in industrial electronics technologies, such as energy storage and energy conversion, power electronics, power systems, electric transportation and embedded systems oriented to improve the environmental sustainability of energy systems.
The main topics of the conference are: Energy storage devices, Power converters, Renewable energy systems, Microgrids, Resilience for energy systems, Transport electrification, IoT for sustainable energy systems, Smart buildings. IESES 2020 will also organise plenary speeches and exposition of scientific and technical equipment related to the conference topics.
Contributions are expected from academia, industry, and research agencies. Prospective participants of IESES 2020 are encouraged to organize special sessions in a specific area within the conference topics and submit them at the attention of Special Session Committee.
Prospective authors are invited to submit regular papers of their work in English.
The conference proceedings will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® digital library and indexed on SCOPUS and Web of Science.
Awards:
Awards will be provided to the three Outstanding Papers and to the three Student Excellent Presentations, selected and conferred by the IESES 2020 Program Committee.
Post-Conference:
The authors of high ranked IESES 2020 papers will be formally invited to submit an extention version of their pubblication to the Special Sections of the:
IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Industrial Electronics
