On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics, ICM2021, sponsored by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES), which will be held on March 7-9, 2021, in Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan. ICM2021 aims at providing a multidisciplinary forum between researchers from industry and academia to discuss state-of-the-art topics in mechatronics and present recent research results and prospects for development in this evolving area.
Kashiwa-no-ha area is recently developed as “Kashiwa-no-ha smart city” with the concepts of “Environmental Harmony,” “Health and Longevity,” and “Creation of New Industries.” The conference venue, Kashiwa-no-ha conference center, is located at 2 minutes walk from Kashiwanoha Campus Station on the Tsukuba Express Line. Via the Tsukuba Express line, it takes only 30 minutes to visit the center of Tokyo. Recommended sightseeing spots are, for instance, Toyosu fish market, Kamakura city, Nikko, Tsukuba mountain, and Tokyo Olympic 2020 heritages.
