Journal Impact Factor is the average number of times articles from a journal published in the past two years have been cited in the Journal Citation Report (JCR). These results are those generally used and relied upon by technical publications and their stakeholders.

According to the recent JCR report released this year, the Impact Factors (IFs) of our publications of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, in year 2020, are:

  • IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics TII: 10,215
  • IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics TIE: 8,236
  • IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine IEM: 6.625

These excellent results are due to the hard work, dedication, commitment, sincerity and inclusiveness of Authors, Reviewers, Associate Editors, Editors, Co-EICs and EICs towards IES publications. Sincere thanks to IES AdCom and Publication Committee for providing excellent suggestions to strengthen the review and other operational process of IES publications.

IES strive to contribute to the society by publishing high-quality articles.

The scope for TIE is to encompass the applications of electronics, controls and communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence for the enhancement of industrial and manufacturing systems and processes.

The scope of TII includes reporting, defining, providing a forum for discourse, and informing its readers about the latest developments in intelligent and computer control systems, robotics, factory communications and automation, flexible manufacturing, vision systems, data acquisition and signal processing.

IEM publishes the articles which fall in all the areas of scope of TIE and TII.
