Journal Impact Factor is the average number of times articles from a journal published in the past two years have been cited in the Journal Citation Report (JCR) year. These results are those generally used and relied upon by technical publications and their stakeholders.

The publications of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society i.e. IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics (TIE), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (TII) and IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine (IEM) continue to bring glory in the house. According to the recent JCR, there is remarkable improvement in the Impact Factors (IFs) of IEM, TII and TIE with IFs of 13.593, 9.112 and 7.515 respectively in year 2019.

It is the upshot of hard work, dedication, commitment, sincerity and inclusiveness of Authors, Reviewers, Associate Editors, Editors, Co-EICs and EICs towards IES publications. Sincere thanks to IES AdCom to provide excellent suggestions to strengthen the review and other operational process of IES publications. Thank you and congratulations!

IES strive to contribute to the society by publishing high-quality articles. The scope for TIE is to encompass the applications of electronics, controls and communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence for the enhancement of industrial and manufacturing systems and processes. The scope of TII includes reporting, defining, providing a forum for discourse, and informing its readers about the latest developments in intelligent and computer control systems, robotics, factory communications and automation, flexible manufacturing, vision systems, data acquisition and signal processing. IEM publishes the articles which fall in all the areas of scope of TIE and TII.
