According to the recent JCR report released this year, the Impact Factors of our Industrial Electronics Society publications (and their ranking among all IEEE publications) for the year 2022 are the following:

  • IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine IEM: 6.3  (58th position in IEEE 2022)
  • IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics TIE: 7.7  (40th position in IEEE 2022)
  • IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics TII: 12.3  (10th position in IEEE 2022)
  • IEEE Open Journal of the Industrial Electronics Society OJIES: 5.2  (61st position in IEEE 2022)

Note that TII entered the top ten of the best impact factors among all IEEE publications. And, with a very first impact factor of 5.2, OJIES does very well. A remarkable success!

These excellent results are due to the hard work, dedication, commitment, sincerity and inclusiveness of Authors, Reviewers, Associate Editors, Editors, Co-EICs and EICs towards IES publications. Sincere thanks to IES AdCom and Publication Committee for providing excellent suggestions to strengthen the review and other operational process of IES publications.

IEEE Industrial Electronics Society strives to contribute to the society by publishing high-quality articles.

IEM publishes the articles which fall in all the areas of scope of the IES which is given as theory and applications of electronics, controls, communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence to industrial and manufacturing systems and processes.

The scope for TIE is to encompass experimentally verified applications of electronics, controls, instrumentation, and computation for the enhancement of industrial systems and processes.

The scope of TII encompasses the use of information in intelligent, distributed, agile industrial automation and control systems.

The scope of OJIES covers the theory and applications of electronics, controls, communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence to industrial and manufacturing systems and processes.
